About Karla Wenger

I am Karla, native from Guatemala and founder of The Mayan Collective, a candle company. Beginning my journey as a photographer, I absorbed valuable insights from renowned figures in the field, adopting their marketing tactics and business expertise. I was mentored by a multi-million-dollar small business owner and learned all about their marketing tactics. In 2020, I made the bold decision to leave nursing school and resign from my hospital job to follow my passion in the business world, all the while extending a helping hand to those in need.

By merging my expertise in business, nursing, and hospital practices, I established a candle bar to educate enthusiasts about the health impacts of burning traditional candles.

The candle bar quickly became a hub for community members seeking natural and sustainable alternatives. Through workshops and events, I shared my knowledge on the benefits of using non-toxic candles made from eco-friendly materials.

I want to support small businesses in achieving success and realizing their dreams by sharing knowledge and experiences to inspire and empower others in the entrepreneurial journey. Together, we can build a supportive community where ideas flourish, businesses thrive, and dreams come true for all small businesses.
