Privacy Policy
This website collects only the information needed to answer you and to prepare for consulting work. Here is exactly what is collected, why, and who else handles it.
Draft for review. This is a draft prepared for Karla's review. A few details still need to be confirmed, including the scheduling and payment providers.
- Waitlist requests
- Your name and email, and optionally your business name, a website or social link, and what you would like to discuss. This is used only to tell you when booking opens for that service.
- Booking questionnaires
- Your name, email, phone, business name, website or social links, and your answers to the intake questions for the service you chose. This is used to prepare for your session.
- Applications
- For Business Beyond You: your contact and business details and your answers about your team, priorities, timeline, and budget range. This is used to review your application and reply to you.
- Document uploads
- If you attach documents to a Business Review questionnaire (up to three files), they are stored privately and can only be opened by Karla. Please remove employee and customer personal information before uploading.
- Scheduling and payment
- When online booking is connected, scheduling and payment happen on Acuity Scheduling and its payment processor. Those companies collect the details needed to schedule and charge for your appointment. This website does not receive or store card numbers.
- Who processes this information
- The website and its private database and file storage run on Lovable Cloud, which is built on Supabase. Scheduling and payment are handled by Acuity Scheduling once connected. These providers process information on Karla's behalf; nothing is sold, rented, or traded.
- Emails
- Automatic emails are not connected yet. Today, Karla replies to you personally. If she later adds availability or marketing emails, they go only to people who separately opted in, and every one includes an unsubscribe link.
- Cookies and analytics
- This website does not use advertising cookies or analytics tracking. Only the technical storage needed to keep the site and the private admin sign-in working is used.
- Security
- Information is stored in a private database that only Karla can access, and uploaded documents are kept in private storage with time-limited links. No website can promise absolute security, so please avoid sending highly sensitive information.
- How long it is kept
- Inquiries, applications, and uploaded documents are kept while they are useful for your work together and for Karla's business records, and are deleted on request unless she must keep them for legal or accounting reasons.
- Your choices
- Email hello@karlawenger.com to see, correct, or delete the information you have provided, and Karla will confirm when it is done.
- Sensitive information
- Please do not send employee medical information, Social Security numbers, banking credentials, passwords, or confidential customer information through this website.
